Meet Becki Bullion, B.S., CMT Becki received her certification in massage therapy from the Colorado School of Healing Arts. Prior to that, she received a bachelor's degree in biology. She has been a massage therapist for seven years, working in a hospital--both in inpatient and outpatient settings. Her previous experience has been working as a physical therapy aide with special populations. She believes in educating the client on how the muscular system works and how massage may help as well as other modalities, if needed. Here is what one client had to say about Becki: "At the time Becki offered her services I was in a great deal of pain and because I did not understanding its source, I was under a great deal of stress. Becki offered to give me a massage on several occassions. Each time she listened intently to where I felt the most pain, and she even went to the extent of researching and reviewing her texts in order to give me the most optimal relief. She took the time to show me graphs of the muscular system so that I could better understand what was going on in my own body. "I have had many massages in the past, most of which didn't amount to much. Becki, on the other hand, paid attention to what she was doing; it seemed as though she was really trying to understand what was going on by looking for trigger points and working them out. She paid attention to the whole body, not just the immediate source of pain. "In addition to being a great massage therapist, Becki is kind-hearted and service-oriented. Those two characteristics together make for a therapist, who really wants to help people feel better." --Katie W. Here is what another client had to say about Becki: "I have known Becki for over nine years while she worked as a massage therapist at Bridges Integrated Health Services and Good Samaritan Hospital. "Becki was an asset to the Bridges. Over the years, I have had physical pain with my back and had constant headaches, and Becki was able to relieve some of that pain, so I could continue with my everyday life. Over the years the pain has slowly ceased to be a constant in my life due to her background in physical therapy. "She was very professional and dedicated to her job. Becki was motivated and thrived for making people feel better. --Helen H. |
