"One of the biggest tragedies of human civilization is the precedents of chemical therapy (drugs) over nutrition. It’s a substitution of artificial therapy over natural, of poisons over food, in which we are feeding people poisons trying to correct the reactions of starvation."
                                                  -- Royal Lee January 12, 1951.

"Vitamins are essential for human life. Needed only in small amounts in the diet, they regulate all metabolic processes, including growth, maintenance, energy production, reproduction, and health. They also protect tissues against damage. Each vitamin has its own special function in the body and cannot be replaced by anything else.

"Vitamins are obtained from whole foods. Many people have likes and dislikes that keep them from eating green, leafy vegetables, such as kale, broccoli, brussels sprouts, and other foods necessary for good health. As a result vitamin supplements are a must.

"Let's face it, the commercial food industry has dominated America's eating habits for nearly a hundred years. What most people don't realize is that has taken a cumulate toll on us, weakening us from generation to generation. From the 1930s onward, the nutritional deficiences these foods created began to alter our genes. As people around the world began eating the foods of commerce: white flour products, polished rice, vegetable oils, canned meats and vegetables, they passed along inferior genetic traits to the very next generation of offspring. Their faces changed shape, their immunity was lost, and child-bearing became painful and difficult."
